Campus Organizer
We’re hiring recent college graduates for campus organizer positions with our partner state PIRGs across the country. PIRG campus organizers recruit students, faculty and community members to investigate problems and build support for solutions. PIRG campus organizers, and the volunteers they train, research issues, build coalitions, work with the media, educate the public, and generate citizen support on issues ranging from poverty to environmental protection. Through their actions, they win concrete reforms, acquire the skills necessary to be a leader in the public interest movement, and leave a legacy of skilled, trained leaders capable of tackling society's most pressing problems. Summer Campaign Staff
The Campaign to Save the Environment, a project of the Fund for Public Interest Research,
is hiring college students, recent graduates, and activists across the
state to build citizen support for NJPIRG, working to
fight global warming, promote clean energy, and protect our last wild
places. Campaign staff go out into communities to talk with citizens
about the issues, raise money, and build membership for NJPIRG. Staff also have the opportunity to work with the media,
build
coalitions, and mobilize activists. Similar positions are available in
